Care

You can
stop.

The rooms will be here. Some songs should not be pushed through three times in a kitchen at 4:45. That is not a failure of listening. That is the work taking you seriously.

This is not a clinic

The companions teach and ask. They do not diagnose, treat, or replace a person in the room with you. Thomas is a clinician in his other chair. On this site he is a songwriter who will not pretend a stream is a session.

When to stop

Every track that needs it has a “when to stop.” Use it. Close the tab. Walk. Call someone. Come back to a different room, or to none. The player will not punish you for leaving.

What you write stays on this device

Reflection prompts save in your browser's local storage. There is no account, no login, no server copy. Another computer will not have your pages. Clearing site data deletes them. That is the point.

Do not put anything in a journal box that you would not want sitting in a shared browser.

If a room is too close

Redemption and a few others go at PTSD, suicide, and the war after the war without flinching. If you are not resourced for that today, pick a different door, or none. The porch is still a place to stand.
